Our Most Frequently Asked Questions

I feel that it is very important for you to know what I can offer to make your wedding day memories, all that you are expecting. The following are some frequently asked questions, and my response to them.

Are you a full-time photographer?
Yes i am a full-time photographer! 2004 is my fifteenth year of photographing weddings. I take my wedding photography very seriously and work very hard to make each wedding album unique and wonderful; creatively documenting life's finest moments. On that special day, it is very important to me to make you and your family feel comfortable and relaxed during your special occasion. My professional and bubbly personality makes this achievable. My objective is to ensure that your are so happy with your photos that you tell your friends how great the photos are — when this happens I am truly grateful and love it, that's how I stay in business!

What do you wear to weddings?
Normally I dress in dark or black professional attire which allows me to remain unobtrusive and out of sight, which is how I get my best images. I'll do whatever it takes to get creative shots. Sometimes it may mean lying on the floor or standing on a chair. It is important that I feel free, agile, and unobtrusive, and my creative photographs reflect that!

Do you care whether we take the photos before or after the ceremony?
I believe that this decision should be totally yours. It's your wedding after all. I will do your portraits either all before the ceremony or all after the ceremony. I am very flexible in company policies about wedding day portraits, however, my only requirement is that we don't break up the portrait session into two separate sessions Meaning some portraits before the ceremony and some portraits after the ceremony). I normally do a few portraits at the dress location prior to the ceremony.

I love black & white candids but my mom wants some colour posed photos too. Can you do both?
Yes I can! As they say in The Bahamas "no problem mon!" I am properly equipped and experienced enough to take beautiful color posed portraits. I will take any portraits you want either before or after the wedding day.

What is your photographic style?
A mixture of spontaneous, posed and un-posed, traditional and non-traditional. I have a good mix of creative images which may be done in color, black and white and/or alternatives. I like to photograph people, emotions, and all the details of your wedding day.

Can we turn a color photo into a black & white photo?
Yes. I shoot the entire wedding in color originally. You can choose at the printing stage whether you want a certain image in color or black & white.

Can you "retouch" any photos?
Yes, all proofs in your proof book include basic retouching at no extra cost. I don't "alter" a photograph's appearance but I will remove hot spots/blemishes.

Do you shoot digital or film?
Film. If you want your entire wedding shot on digital instead of film, or CD this can be arranged in advance and for an extra fee.

Do you have backup equipment?
Yes, I have at least two of everything.

Do you travel?
Yes, I love to travel! Please eMail us or call (242) 356-6798 or mobile (242) 357-4114 for a travel quote to your location.

I hope I've answered all of your questions. If not, please feel free to contact us with any additional questions. Even if I did answer all your questions here, feel free to call anyway, just to say hello!
